About Pokémon Forest

PokéPark KANTO consists of three areas: PokéPark Entrance Plaza, the Pokémon Forest, and Sedge Town.
PokéPark Entrance Plaza and Sedge Town are open to all guests. There are no admission restrictions, and everyone can enjoy visiting.
Meanwhile, the Pokémon Forest, has a course that takes advantage of the natural terrain, with steps and steep uphill sections. For this reason, we have set admission restrictions to protect our guests’ health and safety. These restrictions have also been set out of concern for evacuation in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency.
■ Ages and Tickets
  • You must be 5 years of age or older on the day of your visit. (Note: Children under the age of 5 are not allowed to enter the park, even if they are being carried by a parent or guardian, using a stroller, or accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
  • Ace Trainer’s Pass or Trainer’s Pass
■ For your safety
For safety reasons, guests who fall under any of the following categories may not enter the Pokémon Forest. Please understand in advance that we cannot be held responsible if you become ill after entering
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol
  • Persons who are pregnant
  • Persons who have a pre-existing medical condition, such as heart disease, that may be aggravated by accessing the Pokémon Forest
  • Persons who have difficulty in safely climbing up and down the 110-step staircase by themselves
  • Persons who do not follow the requests and instructions of our staff
  • Note about the 110-step staircase: There are 110 steps in one location. There are handrails on the 110-step staircase. Guests will need to descend part of the 110-step staircase. In case of emergency, you may be asked to climb up the 110-step staircase.
■ For wheelchair users
There is a stairlift available to assist with entry to the relatively gently sloped area that continues from the Pokémon Forest entrance. Please contact the reception staff if you have any concerns regarding admission.
As with all other guests, please understand that you may be denied entry if the staff deems it impossible to ensure your safety due to the weather or safety conditions on the day of the event or if you do not comply with the staff's requests or instructions.

Limited-Access Tickets

You will need to request a limited-access ticket in order to enter some shops and see certain shows.
You can do this via the official PokéPark KANTO app after entering Yomiuriland.
Check if you have been allocated the ticket for your requested time slot before heading to the relevant event.
  • Depending on congestion, operating conditions, etc., guests may sometimes be allowed to enter even without having booked limited-access tickets.
